Morning Sun Pottery is an independent pottery studio run by Krysta Oland in New Brunswick. Reflecting the colours and textures of her lifetime lingerings alongside the Sea, Krysta works both sturdy white and red stoneware clays, making beautiful functional pots for everyday use.

Her focus is to bring earthy-wild and useful pots back into the home. Her pieces complement the ceremony of food preparation, food presentation, and the delightful and sumptuous daily rhythm of food enjoyment. Krysta strives to create simple elegant vessels that feel buttery smooth to the touch, hold heat generously and clean well in both the soapy warm dishwater of the sink and the steaming hot scrub of any dishwasher.
